My new Life at the Game Centre

Today is my first day as an assistant professor at the IT University’s Center for Computer Games Research. Lots of new colleagues that I think I’ve seen somewhere before …

The plan is then simply to produce lots of research and teaching in the time to come.

Strangely, this is also the first “real job” I have ever had, I am not sure how that happened.

  1. Hey, great news. I can’t remember if I formally congratulated you yet. I think at GDC you didn’t have the official news yet. Anyway, congrats.

  2. Cogratulations! I’m much more of a generalist in my current position, but I too often wonder just how the heck I managed to get a job like this. It’s a great pleasure to make a living doing something you love.

  3. Congrats~!~!~!~! I hope it won’t take you long to get to know all these new people…..? (bare tuller)
Haper jeg ser deg i messenger snart!
    E.

  4. Good luck on the research and teaching, not to mention the committee meetings, advising, designing silly games for your colleagues to play – well, I see that part is going pretty well already. Anyway, do have a fun and productive time on the faculty there.
