The panel consisting of <strong>Mia Consalvo<\/strong> (MIT, author of Cheating), <strong>Nick Fortugno <\/strong>(Playmatics, formerly Gamelab) and <strong>Wade Tinney <\/strong>(Large Animal) will discuss topics such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are casual games, and where did they come from?<\/li>\n<li>Are casual games saving video games from cultural ghettoization, or are they preventing video games from dealing with serious themes?<\/li>\n<li>Are traditional gamers right to feel threatened by casual games?<\/li>\n<li>Do game developers have an obligation to make games for everybody?<\/li>\n<li>How should video game studies deal with new game forms and different types of players?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Refreshments will be served.
