{"id":224,"date":"2005-12-15T17:09:43","date_gmt":"2005-12-15T15:09:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jesperjuul.net\/ludologist\/?p=224"},"modified":"2005-12-15T17:11:05","modified_gmt":"2005-12-15T15:11:05","slug":"nordic-game-jam-january-27-29-2006","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jesperjuul.net\/ludologist\/2005\/12\/15\/nordic-game-jam-january-27-29-2006\/","title":{"rendered":"Nordic Game Jam January 27-29 2006"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lately I&#8217;ve been working with <a href=\"http:\/\/diginet.org\">Diginet<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.igda.dk\">IGDA Denmark<\/a> to set up a game jam in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>So I am happy to tell you that <a href=\"http:\/\/diginet.org\/o.o.i.s?id=1023&#038;news_item=144\">Nordic Game Jam 2006<\/a> will run January 27th-29th 2006 at the IT University of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>The basic format is that you can sign up as a team or individually, and that between Friday and Sunday you have to make a game prototype on the theme of <strong>collaborative multiplayer<\/strong>. Games are then demonstrated on Sunday afternoon with panel and participant judging.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiegamejam.com\/\">Indie Game Jam<\/a>, this game jam is focused more on group work, and is also technologically agnostic, encouraging people to work with whatever tools they prefer.<\/p>\n<p>The event is for game developers, students, researchers, and everyone in between.
